Privacy Policy
Chess Puzzles does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It is a chess tactics trainer that runs entirely on your device. It needs no account and no sign-up, and the app itself has no internet access.
Your progress stays on your device
So you can pick up where you left off, the app saves a small amount of data on your device: the number of puzzles you have solved, how many of those you solved without a hint, your current and best streak of puzzles in a row, your day streak (how many days in a row you have solved a puzzle) and the date you last solved one, which puzzle you are on, how many times you have played each opening from memory without a mistake, and your theme choice (Match phone, Light or Dark). This is kept in a private data store on your own phone. The app never sends it to us or to any third party. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes the copy on your phone; a device backup (see below) may keep a separate copy.
No internet, no tracking
- The app never asks you for a permission and has no internet permission, so it cannot send your data anywhere. It does declare one permission of its own, added by an Android library, that Android grants only to apps signed with the same key as this one. It gives no access to your data, your phone or the internet, and you are never asked to approve it.
- We use no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising.
- There are no third-party tracking SDKs, no cookies, and no advertising identifiers.
- There is no account and no sign-up; you never provide us with any information.
The puzzles
Every puzzle is bundled inside the app, sampled from the Lichess Open Database (CC0 1.0). Solving puzzles happens entirely offline and creates no record anywhere except the progress saved on your own device.
Device backup
If you have enabled Android Auto Backup or Google account backup on your device, the operating system may include this app's local data (your progress and theme choice) in your own personal Google backup, and may restore it if you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. That copy is separate from the one on your phone, so deleting the app does not delete it. Whether a backup happens depends on the app's backup setting and your device and account settings. We have no access to the backup. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
External links
The app's About screen has buttons that lead to web pages: the app's website and this privacy policy (chess.cocode.dk), the app's page on F-Droid, the source code and the issue tracker on GitHub, the developer's website (cocode.dk) and the developer's LinkedIn profile. A page opens only when you tap its button. The app hands the address to Android, which opens it in your browser or in another app that handles that kind of link. The app itself never connects to those sites, and it sends nothing to them and receives nothing from them. Once a page is open, it belongs to that site, and that site's own privacy policy applies.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

سیاست حریم خصوصی
معمای شطرنج هیچ داده شخصی‌ای را جمع‌آوری، ارسال یا با دیگران به اشتراک نمی‌گذارد. این برنامه یک تمرین‌دهندهٔ تاکتیک شطرنج است که به‌طور کامل روی دستگاه شما کار می‌کند. حساب کاربری و ثبت‌نام لازم نیست و خود برنامه به اینترنت دسترسی ندارد.
پیشرفت شما روی دستگاه‌تان می‌ماند
برای اینکه بتوانید از همان‌جایی که رها کرده‌اید ادامه دهید، برنامه مقدار کمی داده را روی دستگاه شما ذخیره می‌کند: تعداد معماهایی که حل کرده‌اید، تعداد معماهایی که بدون راهنما حل کرده‌اید، تعداد معماهای پیاپی حل‌شده (فعلی و بهترین)، تعداد روزهای پیاپی که معمایی حل کرده‌اید و تاریخ آخرین حل، معمایی که روی آن هستید، تعداد دفعاتی که هر گشایش را از حفظ و بدون اشتباه تمرین کرده‌اید، و انتخاب تم شما (هماهنگ با گوشی، روشن یا تیره). این اطلاعات در یک پایگاه‌دادهٔ خصوصی روی گوشی خودتان نگه‌داری می‌شود و برنامه هرگز آن را برای ما یا هیچ شخص ثالثی ارسال نمی‌کند. با حذف برنامه یا پاک‌کردن داده‌های آن، نسخهٔ روی گوشی حذف می‌شود؛ نسخه‌ای جداگانه ممکن است در پشتیبان دستگاه باقی بماند (بخش «پشتیبان‌گیری دستگاه» را ببینید).
بدون اینترنت، بدون ردیابی
- برنامه هیچ مجوزی از شما درخواست نمی‌کند و مجوز دسترسی به اینترنت ندارد، پس نمی‌تواند داده‌های شما را به جایی بفرستد. فقط یک مجوز داخلی خودِ برنامه را دارد که یک کتابخانهٔ اندروید افزوده است و اندروید آن را فقط به برنامه‌هایی می‌دهد که با همان کلید این برنامه امضا شده‌اند. این مجوز به داده‌ها، گوشی یا اینترنت شما دسترسی نمی‌دهد و لازم نیست آن را تأیید کنید.
- ما از هیچ ابزار تحلیلی، گزارش خطا یا تبلیغاتی استفاده نمی‌کنیم.
- هیچ کیت توسعهٔ ردیابی شخص ثالث، کوکی یا شناسهٔ تبلیغاتی وجود ندارد.
- هیچ حساب کاربری و ثبت‌نامی در کار نیست؛ شما هرگز هیچ اطلاعاتی در اختیار ما نمی‌گذارید.
معماها
همهٔ معماها داخل خود برنامه قرار دارند و از پایگاه‌دادهٔ باز Lichess (مجوز CC0 1.0) برگرفته شده‌اند. حل معماها کاملاً آفلاین انجام می‌شود و هیچ رکوردی جز پیشرفتی که روی دستگاه خودتان ذخیره می‌شود، در جایی ایجاد نمی‌کند.
پشتیبان‌گیری دستگاه
اگر پشتیبان‌گیری خودکار اندروید یا پشتیبان‌گیری حساب گوگل را فعال کرده باشید، سیستم‌عامل ممکن است داده‌های محلی این برنامه (پیشرفت و انتخاب تم شما) را در پشتیبان شخصی گوگل شما بگنجاند و اگر برنامه را دوباره نصب کنید یا گوشی تازه‌ای راه بیندازید، آن را بازیابی کند. این نسخه از نسخهٔ روی گوشی شما جداست، پس با حذف برنامه پاک نمی‌شود. اینکه پشتیبان‌گیری انجام شود یا نه، به تنظیم پشتیبان‌گیری برنامه و به تنظیمات دستگاه و حساب شما بستگی دارد. ما به پشتیبان دسترسی نداریم. برای جزئیات به سیاست حریم خصوصی گوگل مراجعه کنید.
پیوندهای بیرونی
صفحهٔ «درباره» در برنامه دکمه‌هایی دارد که به صفحه‌های وب می‌روند: وب‌سایت برنامه و همین سیاست حریم خصوصی (chess.cocode.dk)، صفحهٔ برنامه در F-Droid، کد منبع و بخش گزارش مشکل در گیت‌هاب، وب‌سایت توسعه‌دهنده (cocode.dk) و پروفایل لینکدین توسعه‌دهنده. هر صفحه فقط وقتی باز می‌شود که دکمه‌اش را لمس کنید. برنامه نشانی را به اندروید می‌دهد و اندروید آن را در مرورگر شما یا در برنامه‌ای دیگر که چنین پیوندی را پشتیبانی می‌کند باز می‌کند. خود برنامه هرگز به این سایت‌ها وصل نمی‌شود و چیزی به آن‌ها نمی‌فرستد و از آن‌ها نمی‌گیرد. وقتی صفحه‌ای باز شد، به همان سایت تعلق دارد و سیاست حریم خصوصی خودش اجرا می‌شود.
کودکان
این برنامه آگاهانه هیچ داده‌ای را از هیچ‌کس، از جمله کودکان، جمع‌آوری نمی‌کند.
تغییرات
در صورت تغییر این سیاست، نسخهٔ به‌روزشده با تاریخ جدید در همین صفحه منتشر خواهد شد.
